Frequently Asked Questions

Is DevToolBelt really free?

Yes, completely free. All 18+ tools are available without sign-ups, subscriptions, or usage limits. We believe developer tools should be accessible to everyone.

Is my data safe when using your tools?

Absolutely. Every tool runs 100% in your browser. Your data is never sent to any server, stored in any database, or shared with any third party. We use client-side JavaScript and browser APIs like Web Crypto for all processing.

Can I use DevToolBelt tools in my workflow?

Of course! Our tools are designed to fit into your daily development workflow. Bookmark the ones you use most frequently. They work on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.

How do I request a new tool?

Email us at zahid.rasool@gmail.com with the subject 'Tool Suggestion' and describe the tool you would like to see. We prioritize tools that solve common developer pain points and can work entirely client-side.

Do you offer an API?

Not currently. All our tools are browser-based. We may offer an API in the future for developers who need programmatic access to our utilities.
